Street Sounds Recording Studio, located on the University of Dayton campus, in Dayton, OH, is a fully functional recording studio, as well as a studio organization. Run and managed by students of UD, Street Sounds is an environment that combines the features of a professional studio with the education of recording workshop. With a large inventory of recording equipment and software, and experienced engineers and producers, the studio can provide a number of services to artists of all platforms. Whether is musical scoring for films and presentations, to voice-overs for commercials and full 24-track recordings. Street Sounds has the experience and resources to create amazing material for a variety of projects.

Street sounds offers nearly all the amenities of a fully professional studio at a fraction the cost, because Street Sounds is not only functional studio, but a learning environment to the members of the organization. This provides the artists we work with a unique, hands-on recording experience. Where artist and studio work together, using well established recording techniques, while allowing time for creative experimentation. We offer a wealth of knowledge and experience, but are very open to new software and recording techniques. This blend of learning and professionalism provides clients with a platform to create and record rich, high-quality records of their music. It also gives our members a chance to learn the ropes by working on projects and learning the process.

Street Sounds is located in the ArtStreet complex in the center of UD's campus. It has one large recording and editing room and two smaller track rooms. The space is large enough to track full 5-piece band, but intimate enough to do solo vocal tracks and acoustic recordings. The organization prides itself on its versatility, and you will see that we have handled, string quartets, jazz ensembles, rock bands, and hip-hop groups. There is no project to big or too small for Street Sounds, too normal or "unique", the more challenging the better.
